Chanute aims to provide speedy Internet service to all homes, businesses in town

Gary Scott and Portia Murphy use the free city-run high-speed Wi-Fi at the Chanute Library. Scott, southeast program manager for Pyxis, is training Murphy, who recently rejoined the company after a 10-year absence. Their company provides assistance finding jobs for clients of the Kansas Department of Children and Families.
