Fiber offers discount if broadband speed below advertised

Dutch Fiber is offering customers a discount if they don’t receive at least 80 percent of the advertised . The new offer follows a recent broadcast by the consumer programme Kassa highlighting how most broadband customers do not receive the maximum advertised speeds. Fiber will offer a pro rata discount if customers receive less than 80 percent the advertised down- and upload speed for over a week. Customers need to test the speed on a PC browser, with no other programmes running, and have their computer connected with a cable directly to the modem.
